Scaleta Beach Hotel is located just 15 minute from the town centre of Rethymnon . Our hotel is situated only 200 metres away from the sandy beach and the view is one of the best in Crete.

The sunset is famous through out Crete and even the locals visit the hotel and enjoy a drink during summer sunsets . Accessibility is fine, there is a bus connection to the center of Rethymnon which runs every 15 minutes and naturally taxis are also available 24 hours.

Heraklion Airport is 40 minutes away and Chania airport 45 minutes drive. The area in general provides anything the visitor might require. Scaleta offers restaurants, night bars, water sports, mini markets, local shops, etc.

The near surroundings are full of historical monuments, monasteries, ancient buildings and local traditional villages. For the walking people, there are many monuments and points of interest though walking distance of the hotel. (Village Prinos, Byzantine churches, beach caves, etc).

Scaleta is the centre of Crete and an ideal location to meet and explore the entire island since the hotel is built very close to the main cretan high way. Our cuisine is based on the famous Cretan Diet, but naturally central European dishes are also an every day provision.
